Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHUGH WILBERT HAMILTON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Hugh Hamilton on July 2, 2001. Hugh leaves to mourn his passing, mother Amy Hamilton, father Gladstone Hamilton; two sisters, Michelle and Debbie; and brother Everton; one son Nathaniel; five nephews; one niece; and many friends. Hugh was born in Kingston, Jamaica on Friday, July 14, 1967. Hugh immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1973. He was a graduate of Murdoch McKay High School. Hugh was a very athletic person. He was male Jumps Athlete of the year and held the provincial record in long jump. He also placed second in long jump at the National Junior Championships. Hugh competed in the United States and in Greece with the National Junior Team in long jump. Hugh was employed at the Real Canadian Superstore on Kenaston and Grant. A service of thanksgiving for the life of Hugh will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bible Church of God, 51 Richfield Ave., St. Vital. Officiating, Ministers Reverend M. W. Chambers and C. Layne. Interment will follow at the Glenlawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Bible Church of God Fellowship Hall, 51 Richfield Ave., St. Vital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to establish a Trust on behalf of Hughs two and one-half year old son, Nathaniel. Donations can be made to The Bible Church of God Benevolent Fund, which will be forwarded to a trust fund which is being set-up by Hughs co-workers at the Real Canadian Super Store, Kenaston and Grant.
